The Arab Israeli arrested for an assassination attempt while he was waiting to board a plane to Israel and felt that the man who stabbed the 18 men – killed five of them – in recent months, police said today.
Officials said Abuelazam Elias (33 years) was arrested Wednesday night in the airport, Hartsfield Atlanta International while he was waiting for his flight to leave the country. Had been reached to the airport after investigators intermittently to track new leads that have emerged in Michigan. Abuelazam was trying to board a Delta jet bound for Tel Aviv, according to a statement issued by the Customs and Border Protection. He was waiting in the board when the door alerted the Transportation Security Administration for a Delta plane, while the authorities were in place. The police report said that the management staff in the Atlanta airport and then migrated Abuelazam through a contact, and when he arrived in office, then was taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with Abuelazam charged with assault with intent to kill in connection with an attack July 27 in Michigan. Although the charge could carry a life sentence, is expected to be charged and the investigation continues, Michigan Attorney General in Genesee County David Leyton said.
