Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, seeking to enhance a specialty drug
portfolio, skeleton to acquire Cephalon Inc. for $6.8 billion.
Teva, that is formed in Israel, has a vast production plant in
Irvine. That plant resumed operation in Apr after shutting for a year
following a warning by a Food and Drug Administration over
