Jamail E. Johnson, 25, was shot and killed early Sunday morning at a fraternity party north of the Youngstown State University campus. Police said the shooting occurred during the party and no arrests have been made, but they know who one suspect is.The Mahoning County coroner's office identified the dead student as 25-year-old Jamail E. Johnson. He was shot once in the head and multiple times on his hips and legs, and an autopsy is planned for Monday, said Dr. Joseph Or, a forensic pathologist with the coroner's office.This gun violence is getting out of hand. Not one week goes by when we don't hear of someone being killed at the hands of a trigger-happy person.
The 11 injured were taken to nearby St. Elizabeth Health Center, and eight of them had been treated and released by early afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Tina Creighton said. She said she could not release the conditions of the other three. Source
