Involved in the plot was Prescott Bush (George Sr.'s daddy). Also financing the plot was the Heinz company, of which John Kerry's wife is an heir by way of her deceased first husband.

George Bush, Jr. and John Kerry have a lot more in common than Skull & Bones.
