Brit Hume Preaches To Tiger Woods

He retired from Fox News in 2008 and it seems like Brit Hume might just think that he's now a missionary for God. Hume returned to his former home network to chat about Tiger Woods and the recent domestic strife we're all pretty tired of hearing about. He couldn't resist taking a cheap dig at Buddhism and, at the same time, plugging the Christian faith. Said he about the pro golfer:

Whether he can recover as a person depends on "his faith. He's said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be, "Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."
Someone should tell Hume it's going to take a lot more than jumping religions to save Tiger's depreciating brand.

Watch video of Hume making the above amusing comment after the jump.
