Officials
in Gary, Indiana, the birth place of Michael Jackson, is planning a
tribute for the late King of Pop Saturday, August 28, a day before his
birthday.
The event will be held outside of Jackson’s childhood home and will feature local
entertainment and an MJ impersonator, according to the Associated Press.
The Jackson family moved out of Gary in 1969 when the Jackson 5
found fame but the town still remembers MJ as a very generous person
and the world’s best entertainer, says African-American Mayor, Rudy
Clay.
